Vid: Tonight I Can Write The Saddest Lines

This will be my third and last entry of the day.

Title: Tonight I Can Write The Saddest Lines
Pairing: Giles/Buffy (Shippy)
Rating: Worksafe
Warnings: None
Summary: "To think that I do not have her. To feel that I have lost her."
The basic idea behind this video was to interpret canon events through B/G goggles, which is something I rarely do with my AU videos. I wanted to play with the idea that the real reason Giles left was because he and Buffy had been romantically involved but their love had turned sour before her death (which of course isn't true in canon). The real tragedy for Giles was not only her death, but the fact that he had already lost her before that. So when she comes back from the death, he tries to come to terms with losing her.

The poem is by Pablo Neruda and spoken here by Spokenverse (from YouTube)

(Inspired by this Once Upon A Time video)
